Watch The Deep (Cologne, Germany)

  • 16 Am Pantaleonsberg Köln, NRW, 50676 Germany (map)

Organiser: Rheinland Megagames
Designers: Benedikt Gröner

Watch the Deep is a variation of the megagame Watch the Skies by Jim Wallman. This version is set in the 1920s, where various supernatural events can occur, inspired by the stories of H.P. Lovecraft. Most participants form national teams (each consisting of four players), representing influential nations of the time. They pass resolutions in the League of Nations, negotiate with other teams, explore the unknown, and deploy units on the world map. In addition, there will be a cultist team operating in secret, spreading the influence of dark forces. A press team will also be present, responsible for managing information and shaping public opinion.

The core themes of the game revolve around solving natural and supernatural problems, pursuing national objectives, and interacting with the cult.

The language of the Game is German, but feel free to contact us if you speak English, and we'll see what we can do.
